Being sick through the last days of April and into the first week of May was completely unexpected, so I'm trusting the divine timing of this moment and why it's being shared now. I got a cold that had me bed rotting for a couple of days, then lost my voice for a few more, and now I'm here feeling rejuvenated and recharged, grateful that my body chose to restore itself and let go of old energy.

Enjoy the forecast as you listen to May’s Playlist. 🎵 (Slow + Sensitive vibes)

There is so much energy moving right now, and it’s making one thing undeniably clear: Free Will and Destiny are both fully alive in our experience.

We see it in how we choose to walk our path (Free Will) and in what we simply cannot avoid (Destiny). And underneath it all, life keeps returning to the same two questions: How am I receiving right now? How am I giving right now?

That tension between choice and what is meant to be, is the constant dance between the unknown and trust. This is why I don’t believe we are here to create, but to co-create. We are not doing this alone. The Creator and our soul’s participation carry a greater pull than we often give credit to.

What I'm seeing collectively is a massive release, things dissolving to make room for something new. New opportunities are emerging for people to return to their true path, and to notice where and how they've been escaping reality, so they can build something real without abandoning responsibility. And this time it feels less like a lesson and more like momentum, a tangible sense of working toward something, with a little less doubt and a little more belief that it's actually happening. This will bring the need to redefine the tool of responsibility. And here’s what matters most about responsibility: it is not a burden. It is an expansive tool.

The more you connect to what you truly want, the more you’ll naturally feel what is congruent with you, and what is simply an illusion of an option. Something can be available and still not be real for you. If it doesn’t fit the reality you are choosing, or the person you are choosing to be, it is not your path, no matter how much it appears to be one.

This is also a time when loss or the feeling of loss, will be very present. There will be an energetic pull to release what no longer fits who you are, the future you see yourself in, and the version of life you’re stepping into. But this ending is also a beginning. And that new beginning is pointing directly toward the flow of abundance coming in July. Something else I’m noticing: joy and fun have started to feel like obligations, and that’s worth paying attention to.

Life has become a constant stream of tasks, increasingly disconnected from the wholeness of being who you are versus just what you do. Many will feel a subtle flatness, a quiet loss of excitement for things that once felt alive. This is not something to fear. It’s an invitation to notice how much you’ve anchored your identity to the external world, and to come back to what it feels and looks like on the inside.

And with all of this comes nostalgia: the most active emotion of this season.

This energy pulls the past forward, often at its most beautiful or romanticized version. It can quietly steal the richness of your present if you let it. The key is not to use it as an escape, and not to let it make your now feel like less than it is.

Instead, receive it as information. Nostalgia is showing you what you stopped doing, and what you can begin again.

My recommendation this month: choose one topic that has nothing to do with self-improvement and simply enjoy it. Read about it. Let it move you. The ego loves to convince us that the more we know, the better we become, but sometimes the deepest learning happens through living, not through absorbing everyone else’s perspective of us or life.
